A very good summary of hate activity and quite alarming.

This is some very scary stuff indeed. I think that Republican politicians are afraid to speak out because they fear retaliation from their base (either at the ballot box or worse). For right-wing bloggers to deny the vitriol coming from their side, while automatically believing the stories from Eric Cantor and Michelle Bachmann about threats they've received is beyond me. When Cantor and Bachmann say they aren't going to publicize any threatening emails/voice mails, the next logical question is "well how do we know these threats are valid?" A right-wing blogger might ask themselves that in private, but they'd never do it publicly.

By the way, I enjoy reading the opposing (but respectful), intelligent viewpoints you provide at conservative blogs like Wisdom of Soloman. Although I still read them, I have recently sworn off from commenting on these blogs because these bloggers don't seem to care about facts. However, I might have to jump back in with you and inject some logic/facts into the discussion.

Irresistible isn't it?!

Yes it is. In light of the police report calling it random gunfire, I am watching for updates by conservative bloggers who posted about Eric Cantor's claim of a bullet being fired in the window of his campaign office.
