Okay, so it has become an issue

I thought I'd try to stop knocking Obama on this point, but now it seems to be becoming a central theme of his campaign. It just sounds like, "I told you so!" and "I was RIGHT!" which is so annoying even though I do it (see, the things that bother me the most I actually do).

I do not see it and think that he should continue to say what he has done and compare it to others with the experience.

I would be shocked if he is the Democratic nominee, which he want be because of his color. Overall, it's a shame that what this country needs right now is a Obama, but want allow it because of his skin color.

Pinks, with all due respect, your column is only marginally less confusing than the comment which appears immediately before mine.

Hmm. I think my point about Obama is this:

Instead of him saying, "I was right about the war, so therefore my judgment is good."

I would prefer to hear, "I was right about the war, so therefore I think you might want to give some weight to my current plan and solutions NOW..."

Basically, the idea of rightness, or judgment cannot stand it's own, especially in "what ifs," but he can use it as an intro, a justification, or an aside for a real idea or plan.

My DSL and phone lines have been out since Friday, so I'm just glad this post is still up and I can be more coherent.

Regardless to what Senator Obama say or do will not matter in this race. We know that at this point in our history, no African American will become President.

I like a lot of what Sen. Obama has to say and I think he's a breath of fresh air for the Democratic party.

I'm interested in his greenhouse gas emissions and what he's proposing for the power companies and other businesses.

He brings something new and exciting to the table for change and this country is in need of change.

Talker, you are more coherent this time around. A good comment. (I recommend cable.)

My dear Pinks. . . . I just have to tell you I feel you're splitting hairs and then splitting the split hairs. I think it's okay, though, because you love John Edwards soooo much. And that excuses everything. At least in my mind.
