If the FDA approves of anything, you can be sure (1) some pharmaceutical company paid them to do so; and (2) outlaw marijuana because it's cheaper than all the pills they peddle.
Is we're concerned about privitization of medical manufacturers, we should focus on the FDA, already part of Big Pharma.
They dragged their heels to get the birth control pill on the market, but when it came to viagra and cialis, they couldn't move fast enough.

The FDA has been putting our life in danger for sometime now and no one seems to govern what they have done in the pass or what they are doing now.
